Zavodskyy District Court of Dniprodzerzhinsk of Dnipropetrovsk region has declared the inactivity of the Mayor of Dniprodzerzhinsk Andriy Bilousov to be illegal. The MP and the member of the presidium of UKROP political council Vitaliy Kupriy, who had lodged an appropriate lawsuit, has informed about this decision of the court on his Facebook page.
The MP has turned to the court because of the fact that the Mayor of Dniprodzerzhinsk had not responded to the deputy’s appeal that would stop corruption in the land sector of the city: now dozens of companies do not pay the appropriate rent for the land to the budget, but local authorities are deliberately ignoring these facts.
“Because of this decision Andriy Bilousov sooner or later may be dismissed from the mayor post before the end of his term of office,” said Vitaliy Kupriy.
The politician welcomed a fair decision against the official, however, he has claimed that such cases are still, unfortunately, rare in the practice of the Ukrainian courts.
