The introduction of a visa regime with the Russian Federation is not enough to hold back the Kremlin’s aggression. The chairman of the board of “Maidan of Foreign Affairs” Fund, head of Kyiv city organization of UKROP Bohdan Yaremenko has written about this on his Facebook page.
“It’s painful to hear from some decent people about a rigid counter-intelligence regime and visas as a means of deterring the Russian aggression in the fifth year of the war. For travel from Russia there should be not a visa regime, but a restrictive one,” said the UKROP member.
It is about the total prohibition of entry into the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the Russian Federation, with the exception of visiting relatives. However, even such trips should take place with the consent of the Ukrainian intelligence services and under their control. Similarly, it should be forbidden to the Ukrainian citizens to travel to the territory of a hostile country. Violators of the restrictive regime on both sides should comply with the law.
“Stop hoping for half-steps. Everything is too serious,” stressed Bohdan Yaremenko.
According to him, there will be no ordered murders on the territory of Ukraine only when the Russians are afraid to give the corresponding orders.
“We cannot protect every citizen with Alpha soldiers. We don’t need to intimidate all of Russia. It’s enough that those who give orders on their side, knew that they will always get a response in their “trench”, summed up the representative of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots”.
