The MPs from UKROP have signed up for the resignation of the President Petro Poroshenko. The head of state should resign under the parliamentary procedure of impeachment. The document was signed by the representatives of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” Taras Batenko, Oleksandr Shevchenko, Viktor Shevchenko, Valentyn Didych, Oleksandr Dubinin, Iryna Konstankevych and Vitaliy Kupriy.
“There are more than enough reasons for this: a series of corruption scandals, secret holidays in the Maldives, Onyshchenko’s records that require a detailed investigation, defense contracts for himself and his business partners, a paid meeting with Trump and much more,” states UKROP.
The political force has reminded the President’s unfulfilled promises he was generously giving to the Ukrainians during the election campaign and after the inauguration. Then Poroshenko swore to sell Russian Roshen and return the occupied Crimea to Ukraine.
However, in practice, for four years the head of state has only tried patience of the Ukrainians by his illicit inactivity. The aggressor country still has business in Ukraine, the state is even more actively trading with Russia, diplomatic relations with the invader are not cut off. Moreover, the authorities close eyes on the activities of spy agencies such as Rossotrudnichestvo, which are recruiting Ukrainians, deploying deep in the rear.
“Petro Oleksiyovych, the Heavenly Hundred has given their lives on Maidan and Ukrainian soldiers have been dying for the fifth year in the east not at all in order to lead a dysfunctional president as the head of the country!” noted the political force.
The UKROP members urged their colleagues in parliament to join the signatures collection and begin the legal procedure of Poroshenko’s impeachment.
The “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” calls on the people’s elected representatives from all other parties and factions to take this decisive step – because the longer Poroshenko will remain the president, the sooner our country will go to the abyss,” stressed UKROP.
