25 representatives of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” were elected deputies of village, town and city councils of the united territorial communities. This is evidenced by the preliminary results of the elections in UTC that were held on April 29.

“Despite the pressure and dirty technologies on the part of competitors, the UKROP family has got another 25 deputies in different regions. Especially I want to note the coordinated work of UKROP in Rivne and Khmelnytsky regions. We thank the voters, we will work for the benefit of the communities and Ukraine!” commented on the results of the vote the head of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots”, MP Taras Batenko on his Facebook page.

In particular, in Rivne region UKROP has got eight deputies in the village councils. Five UKROP members were supported in Shpanivska community – this figure is almost 20% of the total number of deputies. Two candidates of the political force won a victory in Oleksandriyska UTC, another one – in Povchanska.

The “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” received four deputies’ seats in Khmelnytsky region. The candidates have got seats in Bilogirska town united territorial community.

In addition, UKROP has got a deputy mandate in the united territorial communities in Kherson, Kharkiv, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions.

UKROP notes that the current vote differed by the large-scale bribing of voters by political parties and administrative pressure on opposition candidates.

The “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” is convinced that only economic growth, fair distribution of benefits in society and providing every citizen with the opportunity to earn decent remuneration are the key to the country’s democratic development and the time when the power will be elected in a democratic way,” said Taras Batenko.

It is to be recalled, according to the results of local elections in 2017, UKROP became one of the five leaders among the political parties that received the greatest support from voters in the united territorial communities.
