The parliamentary-presidential form of government in Ukraine exists only on paper, since the Verkhovna Rada is under the full control of the President. This was stated in the program “Right to Rule” on the air of “1+1” TV channel by the MP from UKROP Vitaliy Kupriy.
“The Independent Verkhovna Rada is a fiction. Using blackmailing, bribery and shameful arrangements, Petro Poroshenko set control over the parliament and actually usurped this branch of government. We see this trough voting,” said the MP.
In the opinion of the UKROP member, during Petro Poroshenko’s presidential term, it is wrongly to hope for compliance with the norms of the Constitution in allocation of powers in government. The President not only appoints heads of regional state administrations, but also delegates candidates to positions in the Constitutional Court, appoints the Minister of Defense, the head of the Security Service and controls the law-enforcement agencies. At the same time, the head of state is completely ignoring the function of observing human rights in the country, which is one of his main responsibilities.
“This person is fully responsible for chaos and disorder that exist in the country. If the duties of the President are not fulfilled, then this is a ground for impeachment and bringing to criminal responsibility,” said Vitaliy Kupriy.
According to him, the President Petro Poroshenko and oligarch Rinat Akhmetov are earning about one billion hryvnias per month due to excessive tariffs for electricity under the illegal Rotterdam+ scheme.
Besides, the head of state descends to investment in the economy of the country-aggressor. This is evidenced by the results of journalistic investigations that reveal the schemes of buying the shares of the company Burger King in Russia for $100 million by his associates.
“This is support for the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, this is a crime that should be investigated by the Security Service,” stressed the UKROP member.
