The Crimean Tatars who live in the occupied peninsula did not go to the polls during the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. This was stated by Erfan Kudusov, the leader of the Crimean organization of the UKROP party in the program Kopur (The Bridge) on the Crimean Tatar channel ATR.
“We know very well what is going on in the Crimea. There were empty polling stations in the places of compact residence of the Crimean Tatars. And this situation was everywhere: in Simferopol, Sudak, Yalta and other cities. This is not an election but a self-appointment of the feudal Muscovy. The triumph expected by Putin in the Crimea did not happen. He expected a great voter turnout and legitimization by the Crimean Tatar community. But the Crimean Tatars did not go to the polls. And the organizers-traitors failed to ensure a high turnout,” said the representative of UKROP.
