The MP from UKROP Vitaliy Kupriy became the first official candidate for the post of President of Ukraine from UKROP. The relevant decision was adopted by the election commission on the preparation and holding of the election of the candidate for the post of President of Ukraine from UKROP at the meeting on March 14.
“Today, chaos and injustice are endemic in Ukraine. The president is the person who can and must bring order in the state. I have experience, knowledge and desire to change our country for the better. That is why I decided to take part in the primaries,” commented Vitaliy Kupriy on his step.
The MP has noted that the main function of the President is actually to protect human rights in the state and to monitor their observance. The parliamentarian is convinced that 13-years’ experience of human rights activities will help him to cope with the functions of the Guarantor of the Constitution if he wins the elections.

It is to be recalled, UKROP will determine a single candidate for the post of President of Ukraine according to the procedure of internal party primaries. Those who are willing to take part in the competition should register their candidatures in the party secretariat during March. After that the applicants will present pre-election programs in the regions. The only candidate from UKROP for the post of President will be elected at the Party Congress.
