A candidate from the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” will run in the presidential election in order to change life in the country for the better. This was stated at the XIV Congress of UKROP by the head of Volyn Regional Council Ihor Palytsya.
“We have set an important task. We will run in the presidential elections!” said the UKROP member. According to Ihor Palytsya, the party’s goal is to change the country. Therefore, the political force will choose the most worthy candidate and will do everything to get him into the second round of the election.
“At the last press conference of the acting head of Ukraine I heard that he had never lost any campaign. I did not analyze where he was running in elections, but I know one thing – he will no longer be the president of this country,” said the head of Volyn Regional Council.
He also stressed that the president would have to hold responsibility for all his actions in this position. As well as the officials who are deliberately keeping up the war in the east.
At the same time, the UKROP member did not rule out that the Ukrainian leadership could even make a deal with the Russian Federation to remain in power. The president understands that he will not win the next election, so he would benefit from the intensified war in Donbas after re-election of Vladimir Putin. This will allow to impose martial law, during which elections in Ukraine are prohibited by law.
“They are using the Ukrainian people, they came to power with blood, they live with blood and they want to go with blood,” added Ihor Palytsya.
The politician also noted that the country did not get the desired changes. The authorities do not fulfill their promises and duties.
“The Verkhovna Rada totally neglects the Ukrainian laws. At the same time, parliamentary parties spend hundreds of millions of hryvnias on political advertising. Mostly these are the political forces that came to power with blood of the Maidan,” summed up the UKROP member.
