The Organizing Committee of the XIV Congress of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots – UKROP” has registered three candidates for the post of the party chairman. These are the acting chairman of the political council, MP Taras Batenko, the head of Kryvyi Rih city organization of UKROP, the chairman of ATO Veterans’ Council of the party Mykola Kolesnyk, and the head of Sumy regional organization of the political force Vladyslav Lugovyi.
The head of the party will be elected at the Congress of UKROP on March 3 in Kyiv. Until that time, the registered candidates will go to the regions where they will communicate with the other party members.
“We have started the process of electing the head of the party, as provided by the new party rules. All applicants are to present their programs in the regions. And only then the election will be held – during the XIV Party Congress on March 3,” said the chairman of the Organizing Committee of the UKROP Congress Denys Borysenko.

Mykola Kolesnyk, head of Kryvyi Rih city organization of UKROP and chairman of the faction of the political force in Kryvyi Rih city council, chairman of the ATO Veterans’ Council of the party. Since March 2014 – curator of the 40th Battalion of Territorial Defense “Kryvbas”. He helped to withdraw the military and to liberate the captives from Ilovaisk and Debaltseve traps.
Vladyslav Lugovyi, head of Sumy regional organization of UKROP. Since October 2015 – a deputy of Sumy Regional Council, chairman of the UKROP faction, member of the presidium of the Regional Council.
