The “Ukrainian Association of Patriots – UKROP” is ranked first according to the political sympathies of Ivano-Frankivsk residents. This is evidenced by the data of a survey conducted by the ‘Firtka’ news agency.
According to its results, if the elections to the city council were held on the party lists, 26.77% of respondents would support UKROP. In addition, among the top three leaders there are Svoboda (24.62%) and Batkivshchyna (6.62%).
Also, the voters were asked who of the candidates they would vote for in Ivano-Frankivsk majority constituency if the elections to the Verkhovna Rada were held now. In this case, the MP from UKROP Oleksandr Shevchenko would receive the highest support – 37.31%. Besides, the secretary of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, the representative of Svoboda Oksana Savchuk also has got a high result (19.23%). The third place was taken by the former city mayor, member of the UNP Viktor Anushkevychus (5.92%).
And if Ivano-Frankivsk mayoral elections were held now, Oleksandr Shevchenko and the acting mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv would become leaders. They have the same level of support – about 32%.
It should be noted that the survey took place from January 2 to 5, 2018. 879 residents of Ivano-Frankivsk at the age from 18 took part in it.
