According to the Head of Volyn Regional Council, member of the UKROP party presidium Ihor Palytsya in the current Verkhovna Rada no constitutional laws have been working for a long time and the MPs do not adhere to the promises they gave to the Ukrainians. He stated this in the program “Actual Interview” on the air of Avers TV channel.
The politician has noted that people who came to power after the Revolution of Dignity, became spoiled with money, and therefore forgot about the requirements of the Maidan.
“The laws are adopted, and the text is rewritten after the adoption. It’s long ago that there is no coalition, but nobody says about it, otherwise they will have to announce re-election to the Verkhovna Rada. There are laws that were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada and have not been signed by the president for six months or a year, and this is a violation. I think that these people were spoiled with money and certain financial interests did not allow them to work for Ukraine,” said the politician.
According to Ihor Palytsya, people were on Maidan with sincere feelings, because they wanted to live in a civilized and honest way. And the fact that the murderers of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred still remain unpunished testifies: the authorities have forgotten about the requirements of the Maidan.
“Everyone has forgotten, but the first thing people demanded from the state was the return to the parliamentary republic, to the constitution, where the parliament has the right to govern the country, and not the president. Today, one person decides the fate of the others – appoints, dismisses, demands. I believe that the current authorities have disappointed a lot the people who were on Maidan. I know a lot about cooperation of the current politicians and heads of ministries with Serhiy Kurchenko and Serhiy Arbuzov. Probably, such cooperation did not allow them to punish those who are guilty of killing so many people on Maidan,” said Ihor Palytsya.
