UKROP has registered almost 500 candidates for the elections in the united territorial communities on December 24

471 candidates from UKROP will take part in the first elections of deputies and heads of village, town and city councils of 51 united territorial communities and in elections to three more UTC that will take place on December 24 in 17 regions of Ukraine.

In particular, UKROP delegates 9 candidates for the seats of UTC heads (2 in the village councils, 4 in town and 3 in city councils) and 462 candidates for the deputies of village, town and city councils.

“UKROP’s good results in October showed the high confidence of Ukrainians in the party. We seek real changes, and not just promises. We are trying to change the system – eradicating corruption and launching reforms. Communities elect patriots!” said the head of the UKROP political council, MP Taras Batenko.

The UKROP members will take part in the elections in all the regions where they will be held. The largest number of candidates was delegated in five regions. In particular, in Poltava region the party has registered 90 candidates for the elections in the UTC, 60 – in Kyiv region, 52 – in Chernihiv region, 28 – in Lviv region and 33 – in Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the same time, in Poltava region three candidates from UKROP run for heads of united territorial communities, two – in Ivano-Frankivsk, and for one in each region – in Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions.

“We are not afraid of pressure and falsification and we will take efforts to strengthen the UKROP’s positions in all regions of Ukraine. The party will fulfill its obligations and will not let its voters down,” stressed the head of the party secretariat Denys Borysenko.

It is to be recalled, according to the results of the elections in the UTC on October 29, UKROP was ranked fourth among all parties with a result of 9.5%.
