On December 9, the first congress of the All-Ukrainian Youth Association “Young Patriots” was held at the head office of UKROP in Kyiv.
The organization has more than a hundred public figures, volunteers, teachers, students and young politicians from all regions of Ukraine among its members. It should be noted that the representative of UKROP Ivan Lazorko was previously elected head of “Young Patriots”.
“We are united by a common idea – we are here because we love Ukraine. We want to prove that we are able to make serious global changes in the country,” said the head of the youth movement.
According to him, in the short-term, the organization should persuade young people that they can influence political and economic processes in Ukraine. Activists together with experts will promote new ideas for improving the situation in the country.
“If we all are united, then we will have the strength to overcome the negative processes that are taking place in Ukraine,” said Ivan Lazorko.
The association intends to involve a large number of activists in the elections as campaigners and observers. According to Ivan Lazorko, such experience will be useful for young patriots who are willing to go into big politics and change the country together with UKROP.
In the long term, the most active representatives of the youth movement from all regions will be able to become deputies from the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” in parliament and local councils.
“The basic concept and idea of our organization is to unite young people all over Ukraine and do everything in order to have more patriots in our country,” said Pavlo Mescheulov, a representative of the party’s youth organization from Lviv.
In addition, “Young Patriots” plan to defend the interests of active students, help them with employment and provide legal support to young people, if necessary.
