The Head of Dnipro city organization of UKROP, deputy mayor Oleksandr Sanzhara has become the new secretary of Dnipro City Council. The candidature of the deputy was supported by 52 deputies by secret ballot during the 26th regular session of Dnipro City Council.
“Almost nothing will change in my work. I was involved in the preparation of sessions, talked with deputies, and I reviewed the documents that were submitted for the session. In fact, I performed the functions legislatively entrusted to the secretary. Insured and duplicate,” said the politician after being elected the Secretary of the City Council.
For his part, the head of Dnipro Borys Filatov has noted that he proposed this position to Oleksandr Sanzhara as to one of the most entrusted person: “This is the person with whom we are going together in life.”
As it is known, Oleksandr Sanzhara has been a member of UKROP since 2015. In summer of that year he became the Head of Dnipro city party organization. In November he was elected a deputy of Dnipro City Council from Dnipro city organization of UKROP. Since December 2015 he was the deputy mayor of the city.
