The world starts having an understanding that the Ukrainian elite is unable to develop and implement a development plan for Ukraine. Such an opinion was expressed by the Head of Kyiv city organization of UKROP, the Chairman of the Board of “Maidan of Foreign Affairs” Fund Bohdan Yaremenko on the air of ZIK TV channel.

“The Ukrainians are losing patience, they are irritated by the talks about reforms that result only in closure of enterprises and impoverishment. Meanwhile, the world begins to realize that our country needs to be pushed, because the Ukrainian authorities cannot develop and implement an appropriate plan,” he stressed.

According to the expert, Europe and the United States have objectively assessed the extent of corruption and economic problems in Ukraine. In this regard, Europe has begun to make statements about the need for a so-called ‘Marshall Plan’, which will provide a program of assistance for Ukraine.

“This is sad, on the one hand, because we lose subjectity. On the other hand, it shows that at least the world is not disappointed with the idea of Ukraine’s success, which means that there is a desire to invest money here,” said Bohdan Yaremenko.

The representative of UKROP has also suggested that the most active promotion of such an idea could be carried out by Lithuania. It is the country that is perhaps the most interested in strengthening the economy and defense capabilities of Ukraine because of the common threat from Russia.
