More than two thousand candidates from UKROP today take part in the elections to the UTC

More than two thousand candidates from UKROP on October 29 participate in the elections of deputies and heads of village, town and city councils of 173 united territorial communities.

UKROP participates in elections in 23 regions: Vinnytsya (7 UTC), Volyn (18 UTC), Dnipropetrovsk (19 UTC), Zhytomyr (10 UTC), Zakarpattya (1 UTC), Zaporizhya (7 UTC) , Ivano-Frankivsk (6 UTC), Kyiv (4 UTC), Kirovograd (6 UTC), Luhansk (4 UTC), Lviv (8 UTC), Mykolayiv (1 UTC), Odesa (4 UTC) ), Poltava (12 UTC), Rivne (5 UTC), Sumy (9 UTC), Ternopil (3 UTC), Kharkiv (7 UTC), Kherson (10 UTC), Khmelnytsky (7 UTC) , Cherkasy (11 UTC), Chernivtsi (2 UTC) and Chernihiv (12 UTC).

It is to be noted that in 13 regions the UKROP members will run for the elections to the councils of all communities where there is voting.

The largest number of candidates for the elections among all the regions was delegated by UKROP in Volyn – 375 representatives. In Dnipropetrovsk region, there are 201 UKROP members, in Poltava – 157, in Cherkasy – 116, and in Sumy – 111 candidates.

33 candidates were nominated by UKROP for the seats of UTC heads. Most of the UKROP members run for the positions of the heads of the united territorial communities in Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhya and Sumy regions.

It is to be recalled, today in Ukraine the elections of deputies and heads of village, town and city councils are held in 201 united territorial communities in all regions of Ukraine. This is the largest local elections since 2015.
