The lack of purposeful pro-Ukrainian policy has led to the occupation of the Ukrainian territories. This was stated by a famous writer and UKROP member Vasyl Shklyar on the air of Espresso TV Channel.
“Everything should begin with a purposeful humanitarian policy. For a quarter of a century we have been passing a way to de-communization, which is still not completed. The war gives the moral right to put everything at its own place,” emphasized Vasyl Shklyar.
According to the writer, the most decisive steps in this direction should be done precisely during the war, because in the absence of a state policy the occupants have carried out de-Ukrainianization of Donbas in one day.
The current authorities are conducting too soft policy against the aggressor under the guise of democracy. Citizens of the Russian Federation receive Ukrainian citizenship and protection of special services only on the basis of statements about being in opposition to the Russian authorities. Because of such irresponsibility, the representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service penetrate even to the highest power structures of Ukraine.
“The factory for making Ukrainian deputies and pseudo-nationalists is flourishing in Russia,” said Vasyl Shklyar.
As an example, the writer cited an incident with a deputy of the Russian State Duma Denis Voronenkov, who at one time voted for the annexation of the Crimea, and subsequently received state protection in Ukraine.
