UKROP has registered more than two thousand candidates for the elections to the united territorial communities

More than two thousand candidates from UKROP will take part in the elections of deputies and heads of village, town and city councils of 174 united territorial communities that will be held on October 29.

In particular, UKROP delegates 33 candidates for the positions of the heads of the UTC and 1983 candidates – as the deputies of village, town and city councils.

“UKROP participates in the elections to almost all the territorial communities where they have been scheduled. We can already state about party’s strong positions in many regions. At the same time, our candidates, even at the stage of being nominated, felt the brutal pressure on the part of the authorities. But UKROP cannot be intimidated, the victory will be with the patriots!” said Taras Batenko, MP and chairman of the UKROP political council.

In 13 regions of Ukraine, the UKROP members will participate in elections to all the united territorial communities where they will be held. Thus, in Dnipropetrovsk region, UKROP has registered candidates for elections to 19 UTCs, in Poltava – to 12, in Kherson – to 10, in Sumy – to 9, in Lviv – to  8, in Khmelnytsky – to 7, in Kharkiv – to 7 , in Kirovograd – to 6, in Rivne – to 5, in Kyiv – to 4, and 1 candidate in Zakarpattya and Mykolaiv.

At the same time, in Volyn region the representatives of UKROP will take part in elections to 18 UTCs out of 19 registered, in Cherkasy – to 12 out of 14, in Chernihiv – to 12 out of 14, in Zhytomyr – to 10 out of 13, in Zaporizhia – to 7 out of 10, in Vinnytsya – to 7 out of 9, in Ivano-Frankivsk – to 6 of 8, in Odesa – to 4 out of 11, in Ternopil – to 3 out of 4, and in Chernivtsi – to 2 out of 4.

It should also be noted that in Dnipropetrovsk region six candidates from UKROP run for the position of the head of the united territorial community, in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia and Sumy – three candidates, in Kirovograd, Luhansk, Poltava, Rivne, Kherson and Cherkasy – two candidates, and in Lviv, Chernihiv and Chernivtsi – one candidate in each community.

The largest number of candidates is delegated by UKROP in Volyn region – 375 representatives of the political force will take part in the elections of deputies of village, town and city councils. In Dnipropetrovsk region there are 204 candidates for deputy’s seats, in Poltava – 157, in Cherkasy – 118, and in Sumy – 111.

The head of party secretariat Denys Borysenko has stressed: “This is the most massive local elections since 2015. The representatives of the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots” are working every day for the benefit of the communities, so we look forward to getting a decent result on October 29.”

As it is known, the elections of deputies and heads of village, town and city councils of the united territorial communities will be held in Ukraine on October 29, 2017.
