It is necessary to include into a draft state budget for 2018 1 billion hryvnias for the program “Affordable Housing” for the participants of antiterrorist operation and internally displaced persons.
The MPs from UKROP Taras Batenko, Iryna Konstankevych, Vitaliy Kupriy, Oleksandr Dubinin, Valentyn Didych, Oleksandr Shevchenko and Viktor Shevchenko have appealed to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Budget Committee Andriy Pavelko with such a proposal.
“During elaboration of the draft Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018” we ask to take into account the proposal that complies with the main directions of the fiscal policy, is substantiated and contains the following sources of expenditures: to provide Article 14 of the Draft Law No. 7000 with a new paragraph 17: 17) financing in the amount of 1 billion hryvnias for the expenditures on the program “Affordable Housing” for participants of the anti-terrorist operation and displaced persons,” the document says.
The deputies from UKROP have noted that paragraph 4 of article 11 of the draft law No. 7000 envisages recalculation of 50% of funds received from selling surplus weapons, military and special equipment, real estate of the Armed Forces and funds from alienation of land plots where the objects of real estate of the Armed Forces are located, to the special state budget fund for 2018.
In addition, on September 20, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution No. 708, which simplifies the procedure for participation in the program providing affordable housing for ATO participants and internally displaced persons. According to parliamentarians, if their proposals are taken into account, almost 1,700 citizens will receive affordable housing next year.
