On September 27, UKROP in Vinnytsia created a headquarters for the residents of Kalynivka and surrounding villages, who were evacuated after a fire in ammunition stockpiles. The relevant decision was taken during the operational meeting.
In particular, the UKROP members opened a hotline for all those who would like to help. The number is (068) 492-93-23.
They have also bought some alimentary and hygiene products. The representatives of UKROP in Vinnytsia have taken all the necessary things to the central district hospital, where now the evacuees are settled.
“There are 85 people in the hospital now. 11 of them are children. They are given psychological help. We talked to the chief physician and left our telephone numbers in case someone needs additional support,” said the head of Vinnytsia regional organization of the UKROP party Hryhoriy Zozulya.
Deputy of Vinnytsia Regional Council from UKROP Oleksandr Vasylchuk visited the school No. 6, where people evacuated from Kalynivka are also settled.
“Now there are about 50 people at school. They are provided with everything they need, but I will keep a check on the situation. In the morning I also visited the central bus station and helped the volunteers to distribute things for those affected by the incident,” said Oleksandr Vasylchuk.
It is to be recalled, on September 26 at night ammunition stockpiles in Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region, began to explode. On September 27, the military prosecutor’s office qualified the incident as a subversive action. Because of fire, more than 30 thousand people were evacuated and dozens of trains were delayed.
