The MP from the “Ukrainian Association of Patriots – UKROP” Viktor Shevchenko has reported on one year of work in the Verkhovna Rada. More than half a dozen voters from Kalush, Rogatinsky and a part of Galitsky district (included in the 85th constituency) took part in the meeting with the politician.
According to the MP, during this one year he has managed to attract almost 25 million hryvnias from the state budget to his constituency. Funds were used mainly for improving social infrastructure.
In particular, the repairs to schools and kindergartens were made, windows, roofs, sewage and heating systems were renewed; several sports grounds and renovated children’s playgrounds installed; street lighting systems, heating of people’s homes and FAPs restored. More than three million hryvnias were used to repair local hospitals.
“We actually started building three new schools: in Bodnariv, Krylos and Zavadzy. We will continue to do our best to ensure that our children could learn in comfort and that no school in the district is closed. This is very important,” said Viktor Shevchenko during a meeting with voters.
According to him, in the nearest future he will give a lot of attention to the roads. “It does not matter whether this is the issue of state or local significance. We have to restore everything. Because good roads are the key to the development of both – a metropolis and a small village. Our plan is to restore all the roads of local importance in Prykarpattya,” said the MP.
It is to be recalled, a year ago, at the interim elections to the Verkhovna Rada, in the 85th district in Prykarpattya, Viktor Shevchenko was elected deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. Rogatinsky, Kalush and a part of Galitsky district gave over 21% of votes for the candidate from UKROP.
