The former Chief of Culture Department of Brovary City Council Inna Savchenko is no longer a member of UKROP. She left the party because of the incident with the Ukrainian map, which hung on the stage, created for the occasion of the Independence Day. On this map, for which ex-UKROP member was responsible, there were no occupied Donbas and Crimea.
According to the Chairman of Kyiv regional organization of UKROP Volodymyr Maybozhenko, Inna Savchenko wrote the letter of resignation from the party on August 27, “realizing that the situation that took place on the eve of the Independence Day could negatively affect the reputation of the party”.
The request of the official was satisfied.
“Such mistakes are unacceptable,” stresses UKROP.
