The very next day after volunteers and UKROP representatives had stated about supplies of inedible canned food to the frontline, the military were provided with high-quality products. This was reported by the fighters of the 128th separate mountain-infantry brigade. They said that they had never received such a tasty food and sent the photos of new product supplements to the volunteers.

They show that the soldiers have managed to be provided with fresh vegetables and fruits, jam, butter, condensed milk, meat and new canned pork, which is significantly different from what the fighters were eating before.

At the same time, the volunteer and the chairman of UKROP in Zakarpattya Vlasta Negrya has called on the Ministry of Defense not only to confirm the fact of malicious feeding of the military, but to fully investigate the case and bring the guilty for possible theft of products for defenders to justice.

“Canned food wastes that are stored in warehouses should be taken out from the ATO zone! I appeal to all servicemen: if the cases of malnutrition are repeated, do not be afraid to report this to us and file reports to the command, complaints to the Ministry of Defense. Volunteers together with the deputies from UKROP will continue monitoring not only nutrition of our soldiers, but also the level and quality of state support to the army as a whole. We won’t allow making money on the soldiers!” stressed Vlasta Negrya.

It is to be recalled, on August 8, during the press conference volunteers and UKROP representatives unveiled the results of the expert examination of canned meat produced by LLC “Adamant 2000”, which was supplied to the fighters on the frontline. The contents of the cans did not meet the State Standard, and the odor of the product did not stand up to any scrutiny. During the press briefing on August 9, the representatives of the Ministry of Defense confirmed information on supplies of poor quality food to the fighters.
