The MPs from UKROP together with the civic activists will demand that the Parliament immediately adopt the bills № 5561 and № 5562, which will solve the problem of cars with foreign registration and help Ukrainians to drive cheap vehicles of high quality. This was stated by the chairman of the UKROP political council, MP Taras Batenko on his Facebook page.
“Sensational cases against the owners of cars with foreign registration and increasing social tension related to this, once again convince me that an “automobile visa-free regime” should be implemented immediately, without waiting that hundreds of thousands of drivers come to Kyiv to protect their own right to affordable cars,” wrote Taras Batenko.
According to the MP, the position of the authors of these documents is simple: taxes should be paid by everyone, but they should be equally fair and reasonable. And now, according to the current legislation, owners of vehicles with foreign registration are forced to pay to the fiscal service almost ten times more than the representatives of car dealers.
The politician has also stressed that 11 regional councils and several district councils had already voted for the initiative of the UKROP factions to appeal to the President, the Government and Parliament demanding to support the above-mentioned bills.
