On the proposal of the MP from UKROP Victor Shevchenko, in 2017 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated more than 20 million hryvnias from the Funds of Socio-Economic and Regional Development of the State Budget to Kalush, Rohatyn and Halych districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In particular, the funds will be used to repair the premises and improve the material and technical base of 42 objects of social infrastructure – schools, kindergartens, hospitals, paramedic and obstetric stations.
More than three million hryvnias were received for the construction of Bodnavirska and Kryloska secondary schools in Halych district. For the capital repair of the roof in Kropyvnytsky secondary school of I-II degrees in Kalush district, 1.8 million hryvnias are foreseen. Half a million hryvnias will be spent on construction of a sewage network in Rohatyn.
In addition, the funds were spent on windows and doors replacement, repair of premises, bathrooms, food units, heating systems, roofs and facades, furniture purchase, street lighting repair, children’s and sports grounds, and fencing.
“Together with my assistants I have learnt and systematized all the problems that are in every locality in the 85th constituency,” says Victor Shevchenko. – We are trying to solve first of all the most urgent ones. I focus on schools and kindergartens because I believe that children, even from the smallest villages, should be provided with satisfactory conditions for education.”
