The decision of the National Security and Defense Council to prohibit the Russian sites in Ukraine is a blow to the business of the aggressor country. This was stated by the chairman of the UKROP city organization in Kyiv, a member of the political council Dmytro Simansky in the program “Right to Rule” on the air of 1+1 TV channel on May 18.

“Every person in Ukraine, who does not to use VKontakte, Odnoklassniki or Mail.ru service, is a person who has caused losses to Russia. The decision of the National Security Council two days ago became a significant blow to the Russian business, being controlled by the Kremlin and financing war against Ukraine,” said Dmytro Simansky.

According to the politician, the National Security Council decision on sanctions affects over 500 companies and more than 1,200 individuals. At the same time, many rightly accuse the current authorities of indecisiveness because Russian websites had to stop their activities in Ukraine immediately after the war started. The politician has added that full confiscation of Russian business was included to the program of the UKROP party two years ago, as liberal arguments about the freedom of speech, unfortunately, do not work during wartime.

“Let’s stop pretending that we do not live in wartime. We should just recognize that there is an ongoing war, and we are suffering losses,” said Dmytro Simansky. The UKROP representative has added that together with social networks Ukraine would have to ban channels and media that work in favor of the Kremlin and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate.
