According to results of the elections in the united territorial communities (UTC) that were held on April 30, UKROP has got 101 seats. 75 of them are party nominees, and 26 are self-nominated candidates who have run under party’s support. So in general UKROP has received 9.13 % of the total number of seats for which candidates competed in the elections. 47 UTC in 19 regions elected residents their representatives to the local councils. In addition, the party will have five UTC heads. Thus, UKROP nominee, the current mayor of Krolevets in Sumy region became head of Krolevets town council of the united local community (76.7%), Serhiy Pavlyuk, who ran with the UKROP’s support, will head Bokiyma UTC in Rivne region, Volodymyr Hovayba (nominated with the UKROP’s support) – Rotmistrivka UTC in Cherkasy region, Valery and Victor Boyarsky (candidates, supported by UKROP) will head Zaborolska and Vyshnivska UTC in Volyn. In addition, Dmytro Lyubychankivsky, supported by UKROP, has won the extraordinary election of Mankivka village head in Vinnytsya region, which was also held on April 30.
The best result according to the party lists UKROP has demonstrated in Lviv, winning 18 seats and taking the first place in the ranking of political forces. Two more candidates were elected with the UKROP’s support. In Rozvadivka UTC in Lviv region UKROP will have the majority – 14 deputies. The first place by the number of deputies UKROP takes in Krolevets – the party will have 8 representatives in town council of the UTC. UKROP in Volyn gets 32 seats with its candidates in all five UTC where the elections were held. According to the number of deputies among the parties UKROP in Volyn is ranked first in Vyshnivska, Kolodyazhnenska and Zabrodivska councils of the UTC and the second – in the councils of Samarivska and Zaborolska communities. Two seats have been won in Volyn by the candidates, supported by the party.
Besides, UKROP’s nominees and candidates, supported by the “Ukrainian Patriots Association”, were elected to the UTC councils in Vinnytsya (seven deputies), Zaporizhya (six deputies), Poltava (four deputies), Sumy (10 deputies) and Cherkasy regions (nine deputies), and Bukovina (six deputies). UKROP will also have one representative in the councils of Chernihiv, Kherson, Rivne, Kirovohrad and Ivano-Frankivsk regional communities.
It is to be recalled, according to results of the first local elections in united territorial communities in December 2016 UKROP candidates received 5,72% of votes in the whole country. In 184 UTC the party has got 223 seats and eight heads of the councils – including candidates who ran with the UKROP’s support.
