MPs and society have a lot of questions to current members of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
This was stated by the MP from UKROP Iryna Konstankevych in the program “Pro golovne” (About the main) on the air of “UA: First” TV channel on April 12.
“In fact, there are a lot of questions to the government, and they are far from appreciation. If we talk to officials concretely then we’ll be able to assess the system of a planned and coherent work of the Cabinet of Ministers,” said Iryna Konstankevych. According to her, during this year of work the government has not managed to implement all declared priorities. It concerns, for example, education and health reforms that have not actually been even started. Besides, it is also unclear in what way the government plans to implement the pension reform, as all talks about it are still at the level of declarations and posts on social networks. Instead, the ways to overcome Pension Fund deficit and establish justice for pensioners with many years of experience have not been announced yet.
“There should be a conceptual basis of this reform. It is important to clearly and convincingly explain each step and take into account all the disadvantages and problems that now exist,” said Iryna Konstankevych. The MP has noted that the government headed by Volodymyr Groysman has to continue the started work since one year was not enough to implement all intentions and the main challenges are still ahead. At the same time the members of the Cabinet of Ministers should report back on their activities to the profile parliamentary committees. And after deep analysis and consideration of all specific issues, a general report should be submitted to the Parliament’s session hall and represented for a public discussion, stressed the MP.
