Having been headed by Volodymyr Groysman for one year, the Cabinet of Ministers should report back on the results of its activities to the Verkhovna Rada. This was stated on April 10 in the program “Pershi pro golovne” (First about the main things) on the air of ZIK TV channel by the MP from UKROP Oleksandr Dubinin, commenting on the information that there will be no government’s report in Parliament this week.

“I was surprised by the Cabinet’s position: if we want – we will come, if we don’t want – we won’t come. One year has passed, so you should come and report back,” said the MP. The UKROP representative has noted that the responsible chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers would make the ministers firstly report to the parliamentary committees and then to the plenary.

The politician has also stressed that during this year no strategy of any ministry has been elaborated.

Meanwhile, the main prerequisite for improving the lives of Ukrainians is job creation and economic development. For this purpose, government should have suspended charging penalties and fines for debts for state enterprises. However, due to the absence of such initiatives, the Verkhovna Rada is engaged in point solution of economic problems. It concerns, for example, aircraft revival through debt restructuring of the Pivdenmash plant.

Oleksandr Dubinin has also noted that the year of Volodymyr Groysman’s chairmanship in the Cabinet of Ministers has brought neither negative nor positive changes to the country.
