Bohdan Yaremenko, chairman of the charity fund “Maidan of Foreign Affairs”, the famous diplomat and public figure, has become a member of the party “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP”. He is a member of one of the party district organizations in Kyiv. Bohdan Yaremenko has written about it on his Facebook page.
“Politics has after all caught me. Living in this country, in our disturbing circumstances, without making any active attempts to change them, turned out to be unbearable for me. It is necessary to move forward,” Bohdan Yaremenko explained his step.
“I would like to welcome a well-known Ukrainian diplomat, Citizen with a capital letter, former Consul General in Istanbul Bohdan Yaremenko with joining the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP”. True patriots should be together! We respect him as an expert and rely on his experience,” said the chairman of the UKROP political council Taras Batenko.
The choice in favour of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association” among the other political forces the expert explained with identical positions on major issues and respect for the founders of the party who are not afraid to take responsibility and know how to achieve results.
“Current authorities don’t like them, and I don’t like the current authorities,” added Bohdan Yaremenko.
In the party he will be responsible for the international direction. In addition, the fund “Maidan of Foreign Affairs” is preparing a series of joint information projects together with UKROP.
