Families of the Ukrainian soldiers, who are held in captivity, support blockade of trade with the occupied territories of Donbas and are ready to join its participants. This is stated in a video address of the relatives of captives, which was published on February 15 by the Head of UKROP in Krivyi Rih Mykola Kolesnyk on his Facebook page.
“If necessary, we will join the blockade. If it helps to free our guys or to move the process forward, we just support you and thank you for remembering about us,” said one of the women, addressing to the blockers. Mykola Kolesnyk wrote a comment to the video: “Guys, wait, tomorrow we will be there!”
Mothers and wives of captives emphasize that they have appealed to all competent authorities, media and even international organizations asking to help liberate their breadwinners, but they have not received any aid. So stop in trade with ORDLO, where the Ukrainian officials and terrorists earn money, is almost the only effective way to influence those who hold the Ukrainians in captivity.
Families of captives call on the current authorities, who have done nothing for liberation of their loved ones, at least not to hinder trade blockade of the occupied areas of Donbas. “The guys who were in Ilovaisk and Debaltseve in 2014, who were among the first to protect our borders, have the right to stay there and dictate their terms. They came there for the sake of their fellows, and not for someone’s money,” is said in the video address.
