The Ukrainian authorities violate the international law, calling the third consecutive year of undeclared war an anti-terrorist operation. The chairman of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP” political council, MP Taras Batenko said it on February 9, during a press briefing in Parliament.

“We propose the state, President and diplomatic service to follow the international law and call things by their proper names,” said Taras Batenko. The MP has added that Ukraine should finally recognize the war with Russia at the official level. As a part of a comprehensive approach to the conflict resolution the current authorities should raise the question of cutting off diplomatic relations with the aggressor and declare martial law in the area of fighting.

For the quick settlement of conflict the trade with ORDLO should be also stopped, mentioned the member of the UKROP party presidium, MP Oleksandr Shevchenko. According to him, only humanitarian aid may be allowed to be transported to the occupied territories, and only after its thorough check. “Trade with the occupied territories is a huge shame. I urge the President and all the officials to find their positions and say if they are patriots, who are ready to fight for the independence,” said Oleksandr Shevchenko.

In his turn the Head of UKROP in Kryvyi Rih Mykola Kolesnyk said that the “Ukrainian Patriots Association” supports trade blockade of the occupied territories, started by ATO veterans, and stands for blocking rail link with terrorists. The Ukrainian Railway (UZ) serves ORDLO railway to the border with Russia. It turns out that delivery of military equipment and personnel of the aggressor to Avdiivka is provided by UZ. It’s time to put an end to this,” said Mykola Kolesnyk.

The member of the UKROP political council, ATO veteran Yevhen Terehov, more known as Titanium Jackson, also supported his colleagues. “I call on to support the blockade, to completely cut off transportation to the occupied territories, so that the prisoners who are still in captivity could return home,” said the ATO veteran.
