The law enforcement agencies together with the Government should check the actions of the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Maxym Martynyuk. The MP from UKROP Vitaliy Kupriy said it from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I appeal to the police authorities and the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman asking to carry out an official inspection and ensure implementation of the law,” said Vitaliy Kupriy.
According to the MP, Maxym Martynyuk was appointed the Head of the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre just after the Revolution of Dignity. Despite lacking results in his previous work, last year the official’s career instantly grew and he was appointed the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food. After his promotion Maxym Martynyuk renewed old corruption schemes, forcing the heads of the StateGeoCadastre regional branches to allocate land on non-transparent conditions and even take it away from the ATO soldiers.
The representative of UKROP has added that he has clear evidence of illegal allocation of tens of hectares of land by the Head of the StateGeoCadastre in Volyn region Vasyl Vasylenko in agreement with Maxym Martynyuk. However, the deputy minister does not even respond to court decisions, which recognized the actions of his subordinate as illegal.
According to Vitaliy Kupriy, Maxym Martynyuk has unlimited indulgence on dismissing the employees if they refuse to follow illegal instructions from above. The fact is that the official forces all the regional Heads of StateGeoCadastre to write the letter of resignation without specifying the date. And if they refuse to participate in corruption schemes, Martynyuk dismiss rebellious officials just stamping the documents with today’s date. Last year in this way 10 regional Heads of StateGeoCadastre were dismissed in just one day only in Dnipropetrovsk region.
“Maxym Martynyuk should be removed from office,” stressed Vitaliy Kupriy.
