On November, 25 during its first meeting the newly elected political council of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP” elected 8 members of the party presidium from its ranks. They were MPs Taras Batenko, Oleksandr Shevchenko, Oleksandr Dubinin, Valentyn Didych and the Head of Volyn Regional Council Ihor Palytsya, the chairman of UKROP regional organization in Dnipropetrovsk Hennady Korban, chairman of UKROP in Kyiv region Volodymyr Maibozhenko and head of Zaporizhia regional party organization Yaroslav Gryshyn. This decision was supported by 67 members of the Political Council among 68, who were present at the meeting.
The members of the Presidium are elected for two years, and they will lead the party between Congresses and meetings of the Political Council. Presidium together with the Party Control Commission have the right to revoke decisions of the governing representative body of any party structural formation, to make decisions on termination of powers of governing bodies or senior executives of organizational units.
