Committee of the Verknovna Rada on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement will require report of the Head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze on the incident in the village of Kryve Ozero in Mykolaiv region, resulting in the death of the local resident, detained by the police. The deputy head of this committee, MP from the inter-faction union UKROP Vitaliy Kupriy said it on the air of “112 Ukraine” TV channel.
At the same time the politician did not rule out obstinacy of some members of the committee on the issue of the appropriate assessment of the incident. As there are very few people in the committee who have a really strong position, said the MP.
“We will definitely initiate Ms Dekanoidze’s report on these events, and it should result in some personnel decisions. If the Head of the National police covers up her employees, we will raise the question about her responsibility, including dismissal,” said Vitaliy Kupriy.
