Iryna Konstankevych, the newly elected MP from UKROP for constituency 23, will propose her subsequent legislative initiatives based on specific theses of socio-economic and humanitarian purport, but not lengthy political ‘road maps’. The MP was reported as saying this in an interview to "Day" edition.
“I declared my intentions in the election program: it has no extensive political “road maps” but contains specific seven theses of social, humanitarian and economic purport, based on which I will propose my subsequent legislative initiatives,” Iryna Konstankevych said, stressing that, undoubtedly, she would be lobbying Volyn in Parliament.
According to the MP, above all a problem of unauthorized extraction of amber, massive deforestation in Kyvertsy, Manevychy and Kamen-Kashyrsky areas and the demarcation of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border near Vetly, Hyrky and Dolsky village councils of Liubeshiv area.
Iryna Konstankevych also noted the inadmissibility of the closure of schools in the districts, as it will lead to the extinction of the villages. “The issues are many, but the answers ... I do not want them to be again rhetorical,” the MP said.
However, according to the politician, the main factor of MP performance is teamwork and ongoing systemic activities aimed at solving specific problems. The five-year history of the Foundation “Together only” and millions of dollars of investment in the development of the region support the intentions of the team of Head of Volyn Regional Council Igor sticks and urged Iryna Konstankevych, a successful scientist and University employee, to run as a parliamentary candidate from UKROP .
“I saw dying villages of Polissya without means and opportunities for life. So I went top people with certain ideas and returned with the other sentiments and intentions,” Iryna Konstankevych added.
