The Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov considers Oksana Tomchuk to be the best parliamentary candidate at midterm elections to the Verkhovna Rada in the 27th district that will be held on July 17.
According to the Mayor, there are many good people in the Parliament, “but in law making their result is zero” as they are mostly engaged in PR. “They are always on TV, talking about “treason” or “victory”. While Tomchuk is a highly qualified lawyer, very systematic person, she knows the laws, understands and sees the perspective. Therefore, in disregard of any political passions, but taking into consideration the legislative work, Oksana is an ideal candidate,” said the Mayor of Dnipro in his interview to the “Day”.
It is to be recalled, the 27th district became vacant after Borys Filatov was elected Mayor of Dnipro. Oksana Tomchuk was nominated for midterm parliamentary elections in the 27th constituency by the Party Congress of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP”. Being the only candidate from the patriotic forces in Dnipro, she was supported by ex-head of the Security Service, the leader of the political movement “Justice” Valentyn Nalyvaichenko and the MP, the leader of the National movement ACTION Dmytro Yarosh.
