The Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov decided to appoint Oleksandra Kutas, a famous model from Dnipro, as his adviser. She has achieved success at the international level, despite the fact that she is wheelchair-bound. In addition, as a volunteer Oleksandra helps Dnipro to become more adapted to the needs of disabled people.
“There are three main tasks assigned to Ms. Kutas: adaptation of the City Hall (to the needs of disabled people. – Ed.), release from attachment the vehicle purchased to transport people with disabilities and development of the media campaign,” wrote Borys Filatov on his Facebook page.
The Mayor of Dnipro has also added that Oleksandra Kutas was offered to join the urban development commission.
Oleksandra Kutas is a certified psychologist, who has been working in a project for creating a barrier-free environment in the city centre of Dnipro.
