Lviv Regional Council has supported prohibition of concerts performed by the artists who have appeared or participated in the programs on Russian TV. This decision was voted on during the session on June 7 and was supported by 58 deputies of the regional council.
The initiator of the related proposal was the deputy from the UKROP party Petro Zhukrovskyy. This prohibition was supported without discussion.
“To forbid any concerts or entertainments in Lviv region performed by the representatives of Ukrainian and foreign show business, who took part in the concerts, TV or radio programs, and other entertainment activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, annexed Crimea and occupied areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions during the actual Russian-Ukrainian war,” says the decision of Lviv Regional Council.
The list of banned artists is to be formed by the special temporary working group.
It is to be recalled, on April 21 the deputies of Lviv city council also prohibited performances by the artists-collaborators. This proposal was issued by the faction of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP” party.
