Ihor Muravskyy, deputy of Zhovkva district council elected from the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP”, warns of a possible dam failure that holds back liquid toxic waste at Hrybovytske landfill. “If this dam fails, toxins will flood all the villages around,” said Ihor Muravskyy at the session of the Lviv Regional Council.
The deputy has also emphasized that local authorities do not care about the catastrophic situation at the landfill in Hrybovychy. “The hill of garbage collapsed and trapped three rescuers and one civilian. And it is highly likely that all four people are dead. Their approximate age is about 27-30 years. While Andriy Sadovy yesterday lied on camera about one survivor who was saved, because otherwise people would not let him go. Who is responsible for this tragedy? Why was the catastrophic situation at the landfill ignored before? And when the tragedy happened – everybody came down like flies. Everyone knows about the mafia that covers business at the landfill, but no one speaks about it,” said Ihor Muravskyy.
