The faction of the “Ukrainian Patriots Association – UKROP” in Lviv City Council initiates an extraordinary session on May 31 in view of the events at Hrybovytske landfill, where the rescuers were trapped under the rubble because of the landslide, and among them, according to preliminary information, was the member of UKROP – Andriy Vnenkevych. The head of UKROP faction in the City Council Ihor Telishevskyy has written it on his Facebook page.
“The UKROP faction calls on all their colleagues to come tomorrow at 14.00 a.m. and make the officials look into the eyes of Lviv residents and finally tell the truth, why Hrybovychy has become an ecological disaster zone,” wrote Ihor Telishevskyy.
Signatures of the deputies for an extraordinary session will be collected in the office of UKROP in Lviv. I. Telishevskyy has noted that none of the officials will escape responsibility, none of those who were trying to be blind to the problems on Hrybovytske landfill for years and to ignore the investors, who offered their assistance in realization of waste recycling projects.
