Volunteer and activist of UKROP Oksana Lazebnyk, also known under the name Ksusha Kyivska, took part in a round table on “Russian aggression against Ukraine” that was held in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
During the session of PACE in Strasbourg Ukrainian delegation presented “The Book of Crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine in 2014-2015”. “Children who have arrived for the presentation to Strasbourg – they are living proof of Russian aggression in Ukraine,” said Oksana Lazebnyk in her speech to the European parliamentarians, adding that “they are witnesses and evidences of the Russian crimes at the same time”.
According to volunteer, the book includes the story of 8-year-old Tetiana Chornobay who has been critically injured because of military actions. “Unfortunately, little Tetiana is not the only victim. More than 40 people have arrived to Strasbourg, including 11-year-old Natalia Lafazan, who has lost a limb after attack of Russia’s Grad systems,” said Oksana Lazebnyk at the presentation.
The activist of UKROP has noted that during this visit the representatives of the European Parliament have voiced their support for Ukraine. “PACE President Anne Brasseur assured us that they will make everything possible in order to maintain sanctions against Russia, so that this war could finally end,” said Oksana Lazebnyk.
