Head of the Secretariat of UKROP party Denys Borysenko asks the law enforcement to take measures in order to return the central office of the party to normal work, to provide free access of the employees to the building where it is situated, and to determine and bring to justice the guilty who took part in an armed provocations on January18.

On January 19 Denys Borysenko applied with a relevant statement to the Head of Podolsky Department of National Police in Kyiv lieutenant-colonel Vladyslav Ischenko. Copies of the statement were also sent to the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, to Podolsky District Prosecutor’s Office and to the inter-district department of the Security Service in Kyiv. “Because of the police’s inaction towards the unknown armed men who are still being in the building, we cannot exclude that all the premises of the party could be completely seized in order to obstruct its activity,” is said in the statement.

Such actions are regarded by UKROP as interference and obstruction of the political party’s activity that is a direct violation of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is to be recalled, in the evening on January 18 the central office of UKROP party on Vozdvyzhenska street was blocked by more than 20 unknown armed persons who did not provide any documents or explanations. The employees of the party secretariat had to leave the office through one of the emergency exits. The unidentified persons are still blocking all the entrances and exits in the buildings, so the employees of UKROP party do not have free access to their work
