Captive Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko has advised the prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine Oleg Chyzh to come to the Russian pretrial prison where she is jailed and to make sure that she is ready to bail for the chairman of UKROP political council Hennady Korban. She has stated this in an exclusive interview to the news agency UNIAN.

“If he wants, he can come here, to the Russian prison, I will confirm it,” said Nadiya Savchenko, affirming once again that as the MP she is ready to bail for the chairman of UKROP political council. “Yes, I am ready to bail for this person. I have written to him personally and publicly, explaining why I am ready to do it,” she said.

However, the pilot said she could not understand why the prosecutor Chyzh did not believe in the authenticity of her application for bailment, which she had sent from the Russian prison last year in December.

According to Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian judicial system is still not able to make fair decisions: while some people are judged and punished for crimes the others get away with it. “Only when we learn fair justice – we could judge everyone who deserves, but now until anybody’s guilt is proved, nobody has the right to deprive a person of liberty. I have got through it and I know what I am talking about!” summed up Nadiya Savchenko.

Answering the question what she would wish for the New Year to the current President, Prime Minister and Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Nadiya Savchenko said that she would wish them sense of conscience, as this is the only thing they are missing.

It is to be recalled, on December 18, 2015 during the hearing at Pechersk District Court of Kyiv prosecutor-refugee from Lugansk Oleg Chyzh questioned the authenticity of Nadiya Savchenko’s application on her readiness to bail for Hennady Korban, arguing that the documents with her signature are allegedly not prepared in a proper manner.
